WL Concepts: Imagination at Work

Photographic Reproduction

Using technology developed for NASA, our LightJet 5000 wide format digital printer takes photographic reproduction to the next level. Capable of creating prints of up to 48" x 96" on photographic paper or Duratrans for backlighting, it images 20,000 pixels by over 20,000 lines directly from the computer, eliminating the need for negatives. The result: digital prints with an unparalleled detail and sharpness, for a quality that's light-years beyond similar devices, inkjet or dye sublimation prints.

Lenticular Signage

Create an impression that moves your target audience - in more ways than one - with a lenticular sign. Made of two or more photographs that are computer scanned, printed, layered and covered by a special plastic lens, a lenticular sign "flips" the image as you walk by, giving the impression of movement or depth.

Vinyl Signage

An economical, versatile and durable way to communicate your message or display your logo, vinyl signs can be made of many colors in any shape. They can be mounted on most smooth surfaces, as well as on the front or back of a clear surface, to create just the right look.

Laser Cut

Laser cutting specialists, WL Concepts uses our 2800-watt high-speed Swiss-engineered laser to expertly produce shapes, signage and production parts accurately and quickly. We can cut ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, plastics, wood, synthetics, acrylic, rubber, leather and ceramics.

Vacuum Forming

Vacuum forming shapes materials, often plastics or styrene, using heat and a vacuum to create such common merchandising tools as blister packs, signage and shelf organizers.

Pop and Wire Fixtures

Designed to attract the consumer and motivate the purchase decision in the retail environment, POP (Point of Purchase) signage and displays can be as creative and dramatic as the one we created for Timberland, or as simple as a wire potato chip holder.

Water Jet Signage

High-pressure abrasive water jets can cut virtually any material - metals, alloys, synthetics, composites, even glass, stone and ceramic - cleanly, with a burr-free edge. It can cut much thicker materials, too, including metals up to 2" thick and softer materials up to 6" thick.

Acrylic Fabrication

Popular for many applications - from displays to sign-holders and plaques - acrylic fabrication is any technique that incorporates plastic. Acrylic can be molded, bent, extruded, cut or stamped, making it very versatile.

Silk Screening

For a smooth rich plane of color on a variety of surfaces, from acrylic to fabric, silk screening is your best bet. This process reproduces a pattern by passing ink through screens onto the surface. Each color requires its own screen so the more colors desired, the more screens (and work) involved.

Large Format Printing

For super-wide output, WL Concepts should be your first choice. Our ColorSpan inkjet printer turns your CMYK files into large-format images up to 72" wide - on paper, translucent film, vinyl or even canvas - creating brilliant graphics for trade shows, POP/retail, banners, murals and more.
